Chronos
(a visual life-tracking dashboard)
They say time flies when you're having fun, but as a parent, it feels more like time is sprinting. Chronos is a tool I built to help me visualize the actual scale of my life, tracking everything from hours to decades in a clean, interactive grid.
The heart of Chronos is the **Parent Mode**. It’s based on the sobering statistic that 75% of the time you will ever spend with your child happens by the time they turn 12. Chronos visualizes this countdown in weeks, helping us stay mindful of the present and intentional about the years we have left before they truly spread their wings.
Key Features:
- Multi-Scale Visualization: Switch between hours, days, weeks, months, and years to see your life from different perspectives.
- Parent & Child Modes: Dedicated tracking for family members to stay mindful of shared time.
- Event Tracking: Log significant life events and milestones to see how they fit into the larger tapestry of your years.
- Privacy First: All your data is stored locally in your browser - no accounts, no tracking, just your time.
